Daughter of former president Dr. Rambaran Yadav, Anita Yadav said that she is looking for a good man and not a high caste man to get married.
Claiming that her marriage was delayed because she wanted to get married after the constitution was made she said, ‘I was planning to get married after the constitution was made, constitution is also made now we shall see.’
’ Answering to question what kind of man she was looking forward to get married to she said, ‘A simple is my selection. He must be honest and must understand me. Class and cast are not only big thing. He must be a good person.’

She told in an interview, ‘It is said that match are made in heaven, may be my time has not came yet.’ She also said that her father wanted her to get married but did not actually pressure her. Saying that she does not believe in casteism and she grew that way she shows her worries towards it.

‘Those who talk about caste are heading towards diversion and destruction. We learn from each other’s culture. It is better to live together in peace.’ She said, ‘Those who want to diverse the country according to caste hu*rt me.’
When question if she was feeling sad for having to leave the Sitalniwas after living there for 8 years she said, ‘No I am not sad, because we knew this would happen some day.’
