It has warned against many social evils. The mines and crushers at Lalitpur, which could not meet the equired standard, were its targets. The illegal operation of the mines and crushers; and its health hazards to the public were made the prime story then. “Due to our warning, the illegal mines and crushers have been stopped. We are in regular follow up for this.” says the program. “At Kavre also, the illegal crushers were running under the protection of the NC leader and CA member Tirtha Lama. Though the administration was frequently told to stop the operation, pressurizing the administration, the illegal activities of crushing and mining were going under the protection of Lama” says the program. Now general public are compelled to have risky journey, where as the leaders and government officials are entertaining in luxurious four wheelers.
