Earthquake hit north India and Pakistan including Delhi. People rushing out of their office and buildings. The earthquake lasted for a minute killing four people in north Pakistan. Also official reported that 69 people have been killed by the quake. The earthquake epic entered in Afganistan Hindukush mountain area struck around 2.40 pm on Monday. Earthquake tremors were felt across parts of north India, including New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Visuals from television news channels showed people running out of their offices after the tremors. Earthquakes with magnitude of about 2.0 or less are usually called microearthquakes; they are not commonly felt by people and are generally recorded only on local seismographs. Events with magnitudes of about 4.5 or greater – there are several thousand such shocks annually – are strong enough to be recorded by sensitive seismographs all over the world. Great earthquakes, such as the 1964 Good Friday earthquake in Alaska, have magnitudes of 8.0 or higher.
